January is a time for celebrating where we’ve been and where we are going. No official trail work days are on the calendar, but we host our annual meeting and potluck at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Harrison early in January to recap the year and make plans for what’s to come. This year we have a lot  to talk about with two new grants (one from AQHA and Tractor Supply and one funded by the Arkansas Highway Department) that will help us accomplish our mission of preserving and protecting the trails of the Buffalo National River.

Thank you to one of our founders, Jacque Alexander, for pursuing these critical grants that will help restore badly damaged areas of the Cecil Cove loop on the Buffalo. Later in January we will have our planning meeting that will establish our work schedule for 2016. For more information, please visit the Contact Us section of this website or call 870-480-6655.
