"We work to keep trails open for all" This is the mission statement for all Back Country Horsemen, and it's the driving force that will have the Buffalo River Chapter back out on the trails in February. With recent flooding there will be a lot to do this year, and we'll begin in early February working the trail from Carver to Mt. Hersey. Later in the month our members will spend three days camping at Hathaway where we will work the trails of the lower Buffalo. The Buffalo River Chapter Back Country Horsemen (BRCBCH), a local chapter unit of the Back Country Horsemen of America (BCHA), is a non-profit service organization dedicated to keeping trails open to everyone on our public lands and to protecting our heritage of responsible equine use in the back country.
